Pinzgauer

The breed of Pinzgauer is originally from Austria, and is known to be an endangered breed among cattle.  They are prized for their natural marbling in the beef.  According to recent studies Pinzgauer are known for their (FCR)  feed conversion ratio.  In some studies they come up in 3rd place for their (AVG) average daily gain.

The Pinzgauer seem to do very well in our subtropical climate, where they are strictly fed on our grass at the farm and occasional treats from the gardens!   We strive to bring you a clean beef product that you can feel good about.  We grow our animals without synthetic hormones or antibiotics.

Here at Lake Meadow Naturals, we have come to really enjoy this breed as they are mostly quiet and gentle, and most of all a beautiful breed.
