Farm to Fork Classes

These classes held by Sharon Brenner and Melissa Perry, will be held on the second Thursday of every month right here in our farm store’s kitchen.  Current classes feature savory soups, hearty salads, poultry 101 and vegetables A-Z.  Read more about these two great instructors below.

Sharon Brenner
Sharon moved to Florida from Nashville TN 5 years ago and brought with her 20 years experience that included owning her own catering and restaurant business in North Carolina.  She also worked for a major caterer in Nashville.  In her time since moving to the Orlando area she has built a loyal following
at the Winter Park Farmer’s Market.  She been a member of the Lake Meadow Naturals team for the last 3 years during which time she has taught cooking classes at the farm and around the area helping her participants to learn where their food comes from and to prepare a wonderful meal from all our local and seasonal treasures here in Central Florida.

Melissa Perry
Melissa has just recently relocated to the Orlando Area from NYC.  While in NY she has spent the last 8 years at Martha Stewart Living Magazine.
There she developed and tested recipes for the magazine.  She has also worked with Trisha Yearwood on her last 2 cookbooks testing and writing
recipes.

Together
Melissa brings lots of talent and ideas from NYC and Sharon brings the knowledge and relationship with local farmers as well as teaching cooking classes.
Together they would like to teach you how to best incorporate simple recipes from our local harvest in a beautiful and fun setting!!  All classes involve collecting your ingredients from the farm and preparing a lovely meal……then sharing it with all your “new” friends.  Hope to see you at our next class.
